Book launch of Un trajecte pels feminismes fílmics. 30 anys de la Mostra Internacional de Films de Dones de Barcelona(“A journey through film feminisms. 30 years of the Mostra Internacional de Films de Dones de Barcelona”) written by Marta Selva and Anna Solà (cofounders of the MIFDB) and published by Barcelona Town Hall.

The book celebrates 30 years of MIFDB and offers a journey through its historical programming; highlighting the role of feminism not only in the films that have been shown but also in the activities that have been held in accordance with the festival.

Alongside the book launch, Carole Roussopoulos’s Y’a qu’a pas baiser!, Eugènia Balcells’ Boy meets girl and Cecilia Bartolomé’s Carmen de Carabanchel short films will be screened.

The launch will be led by Esteve Riambau, the director of Filmoteca de Catalunya, and Laura Pérez Castaño, the fourth deputy mayor of Social Rights, Global Justice and Feminism. With the participation of Marta Selva Masoliver and Anna Solà Arguimbau.
