In different squares of Barcelona

Throughout May, June, and July, five open-air screenings will take place in different squares in the districts of Ciutat Vella, Gracia, and Nou Barris. The first four sessions will be filled with comedies made in the 1990s by lesbian directors: the protagonists of their films and their stories are also marked by the experience of gender and sexual dissidence. The scarce diffusion that these films had at the time, the difficulties to locate them, and the strength of word of mouth has made these films cult works for the LGTBIQ+ community. To close this program, will be screened the winning films of Cortos en femenino 2023, an annual call for short films directed by women organized by TRAMA – Coordinadora de muestras y festivales de cine, video y multimedia realizados por mujeres -.
