At different cultural and educational centers

This educational programme, run by Drac Màgic, focuses on film language and is aimed at children and young people. It forms part of the MIFDB.

The programme runs throughout the academic year and offers two learning moduls:

Programming sets the challenge of organising and facilitating a film screening at a local cultural venue, based on a creative and collaborative process of viewing, analysing, discussing and selecting short films that introduce pupils to the cinematic works of various contemporary female directors.

Creation expands the knowledge of cinematic languages through the creation of a short film inspired by the work of a guest filmmaker. The resulting audiovisual piece is created in dialogue with the aesthetic, thematic, and methodological approach of the guest filmmaker, who provides mentorship throughout the various steps of the production process.

In this edition, students were mentored by Raquel Barrera on her short film Pineda ’92 and by filmmaker Hajar Boujtat on her short film Serem el que sempre hem desitjat.
