Inherited struggles are shedding the skin from generation to generation to fit into new bodies. Understanding struggles as a performative oasis in the midst of a desert of violence takes us to experiment identities of power. Against all epics, struggles take the form of everyday actions. The films included in this program have been selected from the latest creations of the cinema of the real in Latin America. Their female directors use well-known formats, such as following protagonists or revisiting family archives, which in their hands become inexhaustible formulas.
