Women at the EOC (Oficial Cinema School) 1952-1966

A double bill that proposes two chronological and thematic itineraries on the cinematographic practices realized by the students of direction on Instituto de Investigaciones y Experiencias Cinematográficas / Escuela Oficial de Cinematografía (IIEC / EOC). During the school life years only two out of the twelve women that studied direction managed to graduate in this branch. This situation underlines the value of these shortfilms and shows the difficulties that these women had to face in order to film. The unifying thread of the first program is romantic love and its faults, while the second focuses on the confrontation with the law.
