Thinker: Ursula K. Le Guin
How to question, intervene and recodify the narratives with the aim of reinventing the world has been the worry of feminist creation school of thought. Some fantastic genre or science fiction authors have devoted their careers to this discussion, opening the way to political debates: Which histories do we need to explain? About which kind of future do we speculate? How do we imagine these utopian worlds?
La Mostra dedicates a session to the writer Ursula K. Le Guin, precursor of feminist science fiction and daring storyteller of utopian worlds. In addition to the projection of The worlds of Ursula K. Le Guin a conversation among Eulàlia Lledó and Helen Torres will take place.
