Filmic Persistences explores the original spirit of the MIFDB, fostering dialogue between contemporary films and rediscovered works. In this way, the films become part of the same constellation, revealing new galaxies of interpretative scenarios.
The persistences that give this programme its title refer to filmmakers’ ongoing determination to challenge cinematic conventions and create new narrative forms. Aquestes sessions compten amb l’acompanyament de directores novelles, realitzadores consagrades, teòriques, escriptores i activistes, que comparteixen la seva mirada sobre la creació cinematogràfica.
